Fiscal Year 2008 Municipal Budget - Camden City Council approved this budget for the 2008 fiscal year (7/1/07 - 6/30/08) in August 2007.  This budget is subject to revision by the State Department of Community Affairs and is not yet final.  This link also contains documents related to the budget process, including a request form for Special Municipal Aid and a Memorandum of Understanding required by the State for cities receiving Special Municipal Aid.  (Posted 5/12/08)

Municipal Rehabilitation and Economic Recovery Act, 2002 - This legislation restructured Camden's governance and created a five-year recovery period in which the City would be run by a Chief Operating Officer.  An extension of the legislation is being considered by the New Jersey Legislature (Updated 6/18/07)

City of Camden: Operational and Management Strategic Plan - This study, required by the Municipal Rehabilitation and Economic Recovery Act, was presented to City Council on June 30, 2004 by Joshua Kim & Associates.  City Council rejected this plan on October 22, 2004 by a unanimous 6-0 vote.  (Link posted 7/19/04)
