External Documents >> Redevelopment Cramer Hill RedevelopmentThis section of the CAMConnect website is intended to be a library of documents related to redevelopment plans for the Cramer Hill / Biedeman neighborhood of Camden. The Cramer Hill Study Area Redevelopment Plan was approved by the City Planning Board on May 18, 2004. The Camden City Council approved the Plan twice in 2004. However, because of questions about which City Council members could vote on the Plan, an additional vote was required. In July 2005, Council approved the Plan 4-2. The Plan was subsequently voided by a State Superior Court Judge on a technicality. On May 25, 2006, Chief Operating Officer Randy Primas announced that the City was withdrawing the plan and will pursue adoption of a new plan by the end of 2006. Many details pertaining to relocation of residents, funding, and other issues must be resolved.
