Camden City Kids Count

CAMConnect is pleased to announce the release of the Camden Kids Count 2004.  This report was written by CAMConnect, in cooperation with Association for Children of New Jersey (ACNJ), and with support of the Camden Center for Youth Development (CCYD) / Camden City Youth Services Commission (CCYSC),

The Camden Kids Count pulls together data from a variety of sources to identify the problems and challenges that face Camden’s youth and families.  It is the first attempt in Camden City to systematically present data on these challenges at the municipal and neighborhood level.

“Our hope is that city and state policymakers and community agencies will use these data to target services and programs that can improve outcomes for these needy children,” said Derek Ziegler, CAMConnect Program Manager.

The Camden Kids Count report was featured in the Philadelphia Inquirer and WHYY-FM on Friday, October 29, 2004.
